An Ode to San Francisco

It is another beautiful day
In the hilly city by the bay
The sun is out, the skies are blue
No fog in site, The Rock in view
Cable cars ding their way down Hyde
Tourists laughing during their ride
Lombard Street winds down Russian Hill
Eight hairpin turns provide a thrill
Sea lions play at Pier Thirty Nine
People watching them in a line
So much to do, so much to see
Chinatown to Haight-Ashbury
The Bay Bridge and the Golden Gate
Above the water, sea gulls blate
Beside the bridge, Presidio
A clear view to Sausalito
Atop Twin Peaks, breathtaking view
The hills, the parks, the water blue
Painted ladies of postcard row
Across the street Park Alamo
A ferry churns t'ward where thieves stayed
Passing sailboats along the way
Nob Hill, the Castro, Union Square
Fun sights to see most ev'rywhere
A place that's diff'rent and unique
Full of Bohemian mystique
A town that's quirky and exquisite
I really think that you should visit
